This place is amazing. My mother is from Bavaria on the Austrian birder so I know great 'German/Austrian' food when I taste. I had some brats, amazing imported beer in tap, Jaeger schnitzel with homemade noodles and hazelnut crepes for dessert ...it was absolutely fabulous. I never knew this place was around....now that I know... I will frequent it often. Five stars for me... The staff was amazing as well. A great place to relax or take the family. Steven

We went with our friends in a group of 12. Two of which are from Austria. The entire atmosphere couldn't have been better. The hospitality was great and the food was even better. The live Austrian music and dance was fantastic. The owner could not have been nicer. We can't wait to go back

Love the food here. Don't expect it to come out right away because it is made to order and comes out piping hot and fresh. Favorites are the pretzel with cheese dips, schnitzel and their house salad with potato salad.

Never disappointed with the service or food here. My girlfriend used to wok here and knew I lovedGerman food. Great food and a god pace to get my fix for German food.

I really wanted to have a place for good schnitzel, but this is not that place. The cuts of meat were thin, and there wasn't much to the dish. It was over-priced for what you got. I would have expected to have red cabbage or German coleslaw with the entree, but all they served was spatzal. I will not be returning.

I was looking forward for a good Austrian-German food experience with a friend of mine. Turned out we were the only ones on a Friday noon. Now I know. We ordered the Schweinebraten which was the worst I ever tasted in my life. It was old and one could see the entire food was microwaved. It says it came with bread dumplings but no, it was two slices of some kind of a loaf made out of bread crumbs. The worst. I actually hesitated when my friend wanted to treat me to a Austrian-German Restaurant. I told him before that I have visited all the German-Austrian restaurants in the DC area and none of them impressed me. I learned to cook watching my grandmother and I honestly can say any of my German-Austrian style food is 10x better. Don't waste your time. The only thing that was worth was the Beer. But you can't go wrong there. I predict they won't be open for much longer. Sorry to say that.

Really enjoyed our food this evening - unfortunately they told us that they will be closing their doors for good at the end of September when their lease runs out. Enjoy the Austrian cuisine while you can!
