If you’re thinking about building a single family home with NV, simply don’t. Move along and find a smaller higher quality builder like Miller and Smith or Winchester. We built an NV single family home 1 year ago (our third house build), and the quality is simply, awful. Thankfully, they do have a really good warranty department who are responsive and attentive and seem to make up for the slap dash ‘build it as quick as you can’ approach that the production managers (Eric and Tom in our case) seem to take. Poor quality examples include, severely crooked windows that will not open and close, over half a dozen walls that are not straight (horizontally or vertically), interior trim that has never so much as seen a spirit level, basement flooding due to pipes clogged of building debris, poor quality staining and semi-glossing, uneven tiled and wooden floors (due to poorly constructed and uneven subfloors), crooked kitchen and bathroom counter tops, poor drainage issues with the yard- the list could go on. 1 star for the warranty manager (Paul) and his team who seem to be the only people that understand what quality really is.
