If you can avoid using Reston Radiology Consultants you will most definitely be better off. My newborn daughter had an ultrasound at the hospital (Reston Hospital) after she was born, and Reston Radiology provided the ultrasound. We never received an original invoice for the bill (which was apparently sent out in April) and only just received a final notice 2 weeks ago. One week later I got a letter that I had been referred to collections. Keep in mind, this ultrasound was done in April and I was referred to collections for the 75 bill in June. Since they do not trust me to pay a bill faster than two weeks, I will no longer trust them for my families care.

Reston Radiology Consultants exercises predatory and unethical billing practices. I was admitted to the hospital in December 2018 and was told that day that I had no copay for the care I received. I heard nothing further until March 2020, over 15 months later, when Reston Radiology Consultants sent me a bill. I called them and found that they did not submit the bill to my insurance. I provided them my insurance info and thought the matter resolved until they contacted me again in July. I, again, contacted the company to provide them my insurance information, but they refused to submit the claim. They then submitted my bill to collections without any further communication with me about the claim or bill. Other reviews of this company prove that I am far from the first person to have a similar experience with this company. Avoid working with them at all costs.

The paperwork was quick, the wait was less than 10 minutes (I was early for my appointment, and they took me back before my appointment time), and the staff are terrific. I was in and out much faster than I expected. Great place to go for an MRI.
