The teachers and staff at Winwood are compassionate and caring. My children truly enjoy their time here and I know I don't have to worry when they are at Winwood as the staff makes us feel welcome and like a second family. They have done a great job with extra health precautions and have kept things running smoothly despite all the challenges that 2020 has presented. I would highly recommend Winwood.

As an employee here at Ashburn Winwood, you can expect nothing but the best! The staff is always welcoming and we love our work family like no other! The director and assistant director always make sure you’re taken care of, healthy, and most importantly, that you love your job. They make sure everybody is happy with the job they are doing and always check to see if there is ANYTHING you need. This is NOT one of those establishments where your boss tells you “you can’t go to that doctors appointment because i need you to work” which is such a sigh of relief! Your needs and well being are put first even in a job that is ratio based — which is simply rare to find. My family and friends are always so jealous when i say “i love my job” because i truly do and i use every opportunity to say it. I’ve referred so many people to our center because it really is my favorite place aside from home As an employee, i can guarantee that we love your children and your family as much as you do! The families at our center really are the best and we’re so greatful to have such an amazing team of staff and families. It’s the best scenario you could imagine.

We’ve been a part of the Winwood family for a little over three years. We have a 5 year old in Private Kindergarten, a 2 year old in the Pre-school 2’s class and a 1 year old in the toddler class. Our youngest was born at 25 weeks and we considered getting a nanny for her when she was born but could not imagine her anywhere besides Winwood because we knew how much she’d be loved there. We were told by doctors she’d be behind developmentally until she was 2 or 3 years old but thanks to Winwood, she is all caught up! We were hesitant to send the girls back to in-person school/daycare during a pandemic but it was 100% the best decision for our family. Their temperatures are taken every morning before enetering the building, outside visitors including parents stay outside and there is constant cleaning. All three girls are always so happy to go to Winwood each day! They love their teachers and their friends and we’re often shocked with all the new things they learn each day. Our two year old knows all her colors and can count to ten in Spanish! Our five year old started off with virtual learning but despite her teachers best efforts it felt like she wasn’t learning much. She is absolutely thriving in the private kindergarten class and happier than can be.
