I have learned so much about efficient paddling and how to take care of my body both with nutrition and stretching. I am almost 50 years old and I'm still firing it up thanks to you. Appreciate all that you do to teach me skills to enjoy my body and hobby.

I came from out west to work with Girls at Play because I appreciated the intentional approach Anna took to paddling. So much of the game is mental and cultivating our minds is central to paddling longevity and enjoyment. I think the conversation about why we paddle and what paddling means to us is the start of better knowing ourselves and frames a purpose to our hobby that few other places really help you explore. Anna's shift to Mind Body Paddle further cultivates her approach that this intentionality that we feel in paddling can be more than our hobby, but our lifestyle!

I have enjoyed the opportunity to join Mind Body Paddle/ Girls at Play on weekend retreats, creeking clinics and even a kayaking trip to Costa Rica. In every aspect Anna Levesque has offered her expert guidance and instruction in way that was approachable and inspired me to challenge myself physically and mentally. She offers a unique perspective on women in paddling sports and integrates the mind and body into a holistic experience. The Mind Body Paddle/ Girls at Play is one of a kind.

I took a private kayak roll lesson with Anna because I had tried and tried to get my roll, but just wasn't getting it, despite watching a lot of videos and going to many weeks and months of roll practice, and working with the student instructors at UNCA. Within the space of the one-hour lesson, Anna had analyzed where I was going wrong, coached me through correcting the mechanics, explained helpful visualizations to get me picturing what my body needed to do, and I was rolling. It was incredible! It was inspiring how specific, detailed, knoweldgeable, and effective her presence and instructions were. I highly recommend Anna as an instructor. The time I spent with her in the lesson was worth every penny, and more.

I have not been there, yet. I read her columns and bought her Yoga tape. I loved it. I have been a Yoga teacher for 14 years and her Asanas for improving shoulder strength are spot on. One of these days, I would love to spend some time in her classes. I was doing white water but my husband asked me to give it up. I think he was afraid something might happen and he would be by himself.

Anna Levesque is an extremely knowledgeable, insightful, supportive and caring practitioner. In recent years (following my 40th birthday) I developed a series of minor yet unpleasant health issues. I had a feeling that holistic / Eastern Medicine was the way to resolve these problems. I knew that Anna was not only well trained, but also lives in accordance with the methods she continuously studies. Her intake procedure is clear, thorough and comfortable, her suggestions for resolving my issues were easy to understand and fun to implement. I was so excited to share the news of our success with her at my 3 week followup appointment. I highly encourage anyone who wants to improve the quality of their health to work with Anna Levesque!

I took the SUP101 class with Anna. I had a great time and learned a lot. Anna is a patient teacher who takes the time to make sure you understand the basics. This was my third time on a board, so I am a beginner. I would recommend this class to anyone interested in SUP.
