The salesman was very through in making sure my husband purchased the right gun for his needs. He even walked him over to the accessories he wanted and took the time to recommend what would work best for his needs. The price was very competitive as well. We will be coming back for sure.

Great selection of many outdoor products. The indoor archery range enables some learning of fundamentals, sharpening of skills, or informal competition. The gun selection is extensive, with popular models centered in the store in about 14 cases - although recently (Father's Day) has been an inventory shortage. To help decide, a \hold program\ allows for getting prepared to buy by holding your gun selection aside for a short while. On fishing gear, there's equipment for beginner or accomplished, including a large variety of lures. Worth some time to spend there.

Can't believe I'm just getting around to writing a review of these guys. I have been going to, and buying from, Green Top for well over 30 years now, and their customer service has always been excellent. The staff there really know what they're talking about, and have always been friendly and helpful. Even with the move to the new location and the growth that came with it, they have managed to keep that small-town feel and level of service. I was recently reminded of just how nice that is while visiting a couple of my local (Fredericksburg) gun shops, as the customer service was very weak by comparison.

Not pleased with an associate remarked if he had his rathers no dogs would be allowed because sooner or later someone one will be bit. As a DAV with my service dog there to pickup an order another customer had come in with the most unruly and aggressive dog that continued harassing my pup. I told the gentleman he needs to leave and that his pup has no business out in public. Long story short employees informed the gentleman he had to remove his pup from the business wherein an exchange with the employee had made the statement. Not happy as I have been with my service dog for 8 years and have NEVER had a situation in public.

This is an amazing store....it has a great environment, prices are extremely decent, the variety is unmatched, and the staff is top-notch. I even had someone offer to help me bring my stuff to my truck! Its like the Bass Pro shop....just 20x better and on steroids. I will drive the 2hrs everytime to get here without complaint
