Oregon's Newest Welcome Center Rest Area is located Northbound Interstate 5 at the base of the Syskiyou Pass just south of Ashland Oregon. The rest area has robust parking, multiple covered picnic areas, walking paths, Multiple Oregon must see/do information plaques between the restrooms and the Welcome Center. Restrooms are clean, stocked, and very well maintained. The Welcome Center is impressive, I've visited and seen many State Welcome Centers around America and this one is one of the best. Staff are knowledgeable and curteous. There are maps, pamphlets, and general reading material for you to review and take with you. One last important feature, there is a Pet Exercise Area with green grass for your pets pleasure after the long trip in the car. If you find my review helpful please give me a thumbs up . Thank you!

Really nice welcome center. I lived in California all my life and didn't check any til a couple years ago. This Oregon seems nicer. Not that the California one was bad, just this seems nicer. They have a few different shelves organized by regions of Oregon. So if you're going to the coast, they have a shelf and info on that. It's also a rest stop and in good spot after getting into Oregon from California. Decent bathrooms and vending machines.
Clean, spacious, and it also has a separate family bathroom from men & women's bathroom. This rest area (welcome center) gives a nice view of the surrounding mountains. It is also trucker/RV friendly regarding separate parking. There are also a couple vending machines and the visitor center with info for travelers.
Friendly staff, excellent Covid safety, free state map, clean washrooms, nice location.
This is a clean rest area . The bathroom was clean. It is well maintained. There are plenty of parking places. There are handicapped parking spaces. The rest area has coke machines. It is a good place to stop and rest.
