Steve Denny guided us up pyramid peak. He was such a good sport and chatted with us the whole way. He ensured we were safe the whole time and felt comfortable taking on the trickier terrain. The booking process was seamless and I can't say more good things about our experience with Aspen Expeditions.

We were steered toward Aspen Expeditions through a friend who had taken Avy classes with the principal owner Amos. When it came time to plan a trip to Japan, the choice was a no brainer- Amos is a pinned IAMFG / AMGA guide, one of the first in the states. Unlike many Japan ski trips, Aspen Expeditions avoids the crowded spots in favor of SNOW. The trip consisted of equal parts back country, lift-assisted back country, and side-country. Each day ended with an Onsen (hot springs) and a meal fit for a king. On top of that, Amos had the foresight to hire a Japanese guide- clutch move to unlock next-level secret stashes of both food and snow. I would tell you to go, but I may be filling these spots every year that they are offered...
I went on two, full-day rock climbing trips with Amos, and left each day with a whole new set of skills along with incredible memories. I don’t usually leave Google reviews, but I decided I would considering how much my time with Aspen Expeditions has heightened my ability as a climber. Oh, and the views were incredible.
We did the Maroon Bells traverse with Britt and loved it! He was awesome and very professional, incredibly knowledgeable and safe. Highly recommend him and Aspen Expeditions!! Dirk was also very helpful before the climb.
My family spent the day climbing with team at Aspen Expeditions. It was an amazing day - fun, challenging, educational and our guides were great. Highly recommend spending the day, or more, with Amos and his crew.
