They have amazing adult programs that help them get to black belt. In those programs they work a lot on techniques and go into the technical parts of why to do this or that. With that program they also focus a lot on physical fitness. It is a great way to get fitness without going to the gym. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to do fitness without going to a gym.

Parents Night Out is a favorite for kids and parents. They followed cdc guidelines for masks and distance. The kids watched a movie, ate pizza, and had other activities while the parents were able to get a night off and be childless for a few hours. Win-win for all!

At Karate for Kids there #1 Goal is to make a difference in the lives of our kids. Traditional Martial Arts training goes well beyond simply practicing techniques or breaking boards. The instructors are very patient and work well with kids. Not only is my son learning how to protect himself, he is learning life lessons. Whether it be in school, at home, or in other activities, ATA Martial Artists can be counted on to be examples of Honor, Respect, and Integrity. I would highly recommend Karate for Kids to anyone who is looking to make a difference in there child's life.

My family and I have seen a wonderful transformation in our daughter. ATA Martial Arts on Cave Creek has a wonderful staff who have the utmost in knowledge and skill. My daughter loves attending each class and it is great to watch her self-confidence and pride continue to grow with each lesson! I especially enjoy the way they incorporate day to day situations in all of their classes.

My son attends the school in Goodyear after receiving a coupon for a free 7 day class. He say the image of the person on the ad doing a kick and he would not relent in begging us to call! We did and we are so glad! He has taken to karate like a fish to water, he loves his fellow students, instructors and we love them too! My husband LOVES the KravMaga classes and we really appreciate the investment of these people in our kiddos life. It has been a great opportunity for our son and we recommend the program highly. The teaching staff is wonderful and super patient with the kids!! We began karate bc our son was so shy and now he speaking loud and clear, making new friends at school and ... And his big sister has even joined the ATA team and is now and orange belt like her brother! If your looking looking to learn martial arts, gain confidence but yet still learn structure and respect...ATA is the place for you!!!

Master Sanborn is a fantastic instructor! She's great with both kids and adults and is always available if you need a word with her. I mean it - she has amazing results with preschoolers that is nearly supernatural! She's able to get 6 to 12 year olds to perform to their highest potential, and she understands how to work with adults, taking special care with any physical restrictions they may have. I highly recommend this school to anyone who wants to make a positive difference in their life! Honestly this is some of the best instruction I've ever seen, especially with special needs students.
