If I could give a 0 star, I would. I have tried for hours to call the Kaufman County Tax office and it will ring about 5 times and then a busy signal. I have read other complaints about not getting through. A tax office should not be this difficult to get anyone buy phone.

Wondering why I have to go to Tyler to Register/ Retrieve a lost Boat or Jetski Title. Approached the Tax collector with this question. I was told the software is too slow here and this would make the wait longer. Well I would much rather wait a little longer than Drive to Tyler. Even more of a concern that Henderson County is losing Thousands of Dollars on the revenue and handing it over to Smith County .Let's think outside of the box please!!!
