Are you here for the food, or for the groovy setting? Perhaps both. We ate brunch. The food was lovingly prepared and presented, with LOTS of veggies and fruit, which is what I like. Artwork and unique creative touches. And of course, purple. We ate on the patio along the creek. There were just 3 of us, but we made a reservation for brunch. This is a weird thing to put in a review, but I felt like I was eating surrounded by LOVE. I could \feel\ it. The way the food was presented, the space, the server. The vibration is very high and pure in here. This place is like dipping back into flower power and the 1960s. Very, very sweet place.

Definitely one of the best places to eat in Athens. Possibly the best. It's pricey but you get what you pay for and man the food is phenomenal. The wait staff are super friendly and fun to interact with. They've got a really nice outdoor seating area that is well shaded and comfortable. The outdoor seating is not just a patio. There is porch seating plus a little gazebo back in the woods and they've even got a couple tables right on a little walk Bridge across the creek.

Purple Chopstix is one of the reasons I object to the 5 start rating system. I love it. I love it. I love it. I've heard it described as hippie Thai food, and that makes sense to me, but you could also call it spicy comfort food or local exotic. I believe it's thirty mile meal, and I think they're associated with (hashtag) Passion Works, and I guarantee you've never eaten anywhere like it. (If you can prove to me that you have, I'll buy your next Tom Yum.) Meanwhile, if you have a bad thing to say about anybody who works there, you have my deepest sympathy, because you must be a sad, hateful person, and your life will be endlessly difficult. I wish you well. Pro Tips: grab a bottle of wine at the drive through next door, part at the bank accross the street, and, if one of the tables on the bridge over the creek out back is available, for the gods' sake, sit at it. 5 stars, 10/10, 100%, pi out of pi, The Golden Ratio, pick your rating system. I've eaten there 100times and always leave a better person than who entered.

We’ve been eating here forever. We love everything: the Passionworks decor, the friendly staff, and especially the food! It’s been consistently great for nearly 30 years!
