Was asked by 3 employees within 2 minutes what my purpose of being in the store was and why I wanted to return an item.. Just needed to return one item and get out quickly, why do we have to play 20 questions?

Amazing staff! Fitting room attendant was friendly and attentive. Monique on the floor helped my sister find the perfect shirt that matched her vision for an upcoming shoot. Great experience, if I lived in the area I would definitely be back!

I bought my daughter 2 pairs of jeans for Christmas. She goes to college out of state, 800 miles away. The jeans didn’t fit so she tried to exchange them at the Lenox store. None of the jeans there fit her well, so she asked for a refund. She had the gift receipt. They said they couldn’t give her a return because she didn’t have the detailed receipt (which is ridiculous, because the whole point of a gift receipt is to allow the recipient of the gift to return them. And it has a bar code, which they could obviously scan). So I texted her a pic of the detailed receipt. Then they said they couldn’t allow her to return because she didn’t have the physical credit card. Again, makes no sense since every other retailer seems to be able to easily credit the card electronically used to purchase the merchandise. She asked for the manager who also refused to give her a refund, only a store credit. This is in clear violation of their published refund policy. I will never shop at AE again!

The store was very organized and neat. The store was closing, but the employees didn't rush you out or stop you cold at the door. They were friendly and helpful.
