Argos rep Wesley Albright was to make an appointment to visit with our less than a year new, warrantied home with builder over a mortar fretting/crumbling issue on 5/15. Argos rep Wesley Albright Instead showed up unannounced without the builder on 5/21. He poked the mortar in one spot a few times answered some of my questions (possible wrong sand/improper mix) and left... not even having a business card to leave us. A confusing report was then produced by Argos rep Wesley Albright stating I had a prior home with same exact issue. (We have never lived in or owned a brick or block or mortared home before in our lives) the report said there was nothing wrong with the mortar, nothing needed to be done.. but also stated issue with wrong sand/bad mix by masons. weather would not have caused such an extreme effect, Potential effect on mortar strength . Look at the pictures and judge for yourself, is Argos rep Wesley Albright concerned with helping finding cause of defect or just appeasing builder at homeowners cost? He was aware builders mason admitted hard freezes during mortar/bricking. My second experience with Argos rep Wesley Albright was 7/18 when our builder called in all the former reps that blamed each other over the mortar to our house in what seemed an attempt to say nothing was wrong. During what seemed a bullying to accept the mortar the way it was, Wesley Albright stepped up to me and said “do you even know what a brick wall is for” possibly the most unnecessary condescending thing ever said to me. I know brick walls should not need a 38k mortar repair at 8 months of age, (quote received)so thank you Argos and Wesley Albright.
