NOT RECOMMENDED! I checked in and was there overnight. I then was told to get a Covid19 test. I was left behind by the driver. The driver returned to pick me up. After I finished my test I waited about thirty minutes for the van to pick me. I decided to catch a ride from s friend. The staff at Mission Atlanta frowned on my declaration of independence and kicked me out of the building. This program babysits adult men instead of rehabilitate them. I was under the impression this organization was about independence and self sufficiency. It frowns upon folk who embody such traits.

I was at Fuqua Hall from June 1999 - Nov 2001. I will be celebrating my 21st year of sobriety from alcoholism on March 7, 2020. I give 100% credit of my sobriety to my time at Fuqua Hall. I am still in touch with one of the men that I got clean with. Quite a few of the men from that time had since passed on. I hope and pray that the men at Fuqua Hall will continue to be a beacon of hope and strength to all that seek to achieve the goal of sobriety. May Allah continue to bless and strengthen those men and the mission of The Atlanta Union Mission & The men of Fuqua Hall. —-Abdul Nur—-
