Hands down the best decision I ever made.. not just with my mental health and anxiety but helped me with a five-year severe addiction to opiates. The staff is wonderful I absolutely love my counselors and doctors they really do care!

Considering the large volume that this center deals with, I think the personnel at Grady mental health services does a great job. I was there today for the first time, and it did take a long time, but I was treated kindly and competently. If you go there just wanting a short assessment and a quick prescription, you will no doubt be disappointed. Expect a more thorough approach with long-term mental health in mind.

After 3 hours of waiting, I left. The entire time I was there all I could do was observe the many different ways in which this place was failing operationally. There’s no sense of urgency or priority, they discuss patient medical history openly in front of other patients as if it’s not a HIPAA violation, the staff was unfriendly (a front desk employee blatantly told a patient to sit down a be quiet for expressing their dissatisfaction), there was no organization, they couldn’t provide an expected wait time, and the list could go on. The place is in dire need of new leadership and a complete revamping of their operations. I wouldn’t return and definitely wouldn’t recommend.

If I could give them less than one star I would they do not care about their patients or their mental health they cancel/ reschedule on them and leave them to suffer my daughter had her appointment cancelled/“rescheduled” three times and they didn’t even care about her well being in the first place I decided to go somewhere else and am now getting better treatment save your time and go somewhere else coming from someone who cares.

A situation happened with some mace yesterday it had fell out my bag by accident and sprayed on me and made everyone cough which I apologized to everyone about, the incident. I didnt even know I had it in my bag after apologizing the rental cop still did a report on me even after I spoke to the manager(Chris) himself, he gave me a verbal warning and said dont bring this mace back up here, what was the point of giving me a verbal warning If you decided that you were going to do a report, I've been a patient there for years and they've never had any issues with me. I'm a mental health patient and I want to be able to continue my treatment without fear of entrapment for a simple mistake...DAM, CAN'T I BE A HUMAN- BEING OR DO I NEED PERMISSION??? THIS PLACE IS SUPPOSE TO HELP YOU NOT MAKE YOU WORST
