Wow, sad to see so many bad reviews but I have been with BCBS of GA basically my whole life and I really don’t have any complaints. I had to call them to assist with something for a visit I should not have paid for and the agent was extremely helpful! They have been reliable and covered a lot with the many different doctors and specialist I’ve had to go to.

Worst company ever, I had Cigna and United and Atena through my prior employers , had no issues whatsoever. Now my employer offers BCBS and it’s a nightmare to get approved for anything for any treatment? If you have a kidney problem? There answer you don’t need to be treated as long you have another one . All they want is your money.

I have been on the phone for several hours. Given the wrong number, transferred around and not provided any level of service. I only wanted to switch my plan. If this is an example of quality care and good customer service this is SAD. Incompetent, unhelpful and lacked professionalism.

A 1 star review is generous for Blue Cross Blue Shield of GA. My 84 year old mother has the Anthem Silver Pathway X Guided Access for 2019. Most of her claims were denied because Blue Cross Blue Shield insists that she has Medicare. We have sent Blue Cross Blue Shield multiple documents stating that she has no Medicare but they refused to believe us. They are now saying that we need to provide a letter from Social Security stating that my mother does not qualify for Medicare. This company does not want to pay for anything. All they care about is collecting money! It’s definitely a health insurance that is good for nothing!

Companies/Managers: Do NOT enroll in BCBS. No one will ever answer the phone, and the automated system just hangs up on you. Can't get anyone to answer an email or a call. ABSURD. I am working for a healthcare provider and we can't get anyone to answer anything. EVER. 1 star is being generous.
