A family member has been in Budd Terrace a couple of times in the last three years. The first time he received excellent care. He returned a couple of months ago and was disappointed in the level of care and the minimal services. One of the staff members told him that several nurses and techs had been sent to Emory hospitals because of the many Covid patients causing Budd Terrace to be understaffed, spread too thin. Other staff members said that was not the case but could not explain the reason for the decrease of services.

The Budd Terrace experience was heartbreaking for my father and I due to the pandemic. There were a few and far between angels there, however the majority did not care for my mother's pain management or wound care. Do not and I repeat do not send your love one here if they have wounds to care for. They will only intensity infection more than healing. I know. My mother lost her fight battling wounds that should had healed three months ago. Today, as I write this review I watch my mother in agony that end up transcending to heaven. This should never had happened to any human being. If you love your family member please rethink about placing them here. May God guide you to the best care other than here!

I just saw the article rating Budd Terrace as a 2020-2021 Best Nursing Home by U.S. News & World Report. As a result I'm taking this opportunity to congratulate the administration, faculty, and staff on this well deserved recognition. It was a difficult decision to move my parents to LTC 2 years ago but their rapid and simultaneous decline made it necessary. BT made it possible for them to remain together while receiving the necessary individual medical care. Dad loved the staff and expressed his appreciation to everyone from nurses, techs, therapists, nutrition, chaplains, social work, and hospice. In his final moments I promised him mom would be well loved and cared for and Dad knew mom was in good hands at Budd Terrace. As the pandemic rages on, I am consistently reassured by the measures BT put in place to protect mom. I’m watching the news about the vaccine and holding out hope the situation will normalize soon. In the meantime, thank you and congratulations to the BT team on the recognition you deserve.

Stay away from this place. The 5th floor never picks up their phone even prior to covid the call light was always on as the nurses sat at the front desk on their phones laughing and chatting amongst them selves... I have had to call several times because my mother reached out stating they are not responding to her pressing the call button... My mother has had to sit in her own bile/urine for over an hour because of this place... The management is a joke I CANNOT even get the social worker to call me back. I have recorded conversation with nurses and managment. This place is a joke! And will have a law suit very very soon!
