Saint James Catholic Church Tupelo

I contacted this Catholic Church due to parishioners in our parish family involved in a car accident and hospitalized. Fr. Henry Gratts was so available and patient and listened and reassured his support and prayers. It was such a blessing and Peace just for me talking to him. I felt assured that the loving couple who were in the accident will be given such a blessing praying with Fr. Gratts. What a beautiful blessing we have in our devout and compassionate priest. Blessings and Peace to all at the Shrine of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

I didn’t want to do this but I’m very disappointed in Immaculate Conception and it’s priests. You see my mom passed away a couple weeks and Monsigner Gratz was not compassionate , he kind of had a snarky attitude with my cousin. His only concern was we weren’t going to have it church were we? No we were not bc of Covid -19 and Father Gratz age . He wouldn’t even come and do the service for my poor mom and she grew up in that church . He didn’t even have the common courtesy to give me a phone call to express his condolences. I had a complete stranger do my moms service and that’s so sad even in death she was cheated .
