This is by far the worst hospital for children in Atlanta period. I was told to park across the street to park with my son whom I was bring to get seen for his asthma or I can just wait till someone come out. Which I did because my son was more important. Little did I know the guys who valet parking had his little black car backed in a spot right next to a car that left so I would be able to park but he only moved cause the white lady in blue Tesla could park her car

Great first visit We wer in & we got seen before we could sit down fixed my son's elbow twist .( NURSEMAID ELBOW) They worked quick and didn't try to milk the visit by doing 50 different test and exrays that weren't necessary. Bruce P. Chime, MD ..Celebs M. Zaworski, RN, NP ..THANKZ My son is playing like nothing happened glad he stoped crying.

Wish I could of given no stars at all. First of all, they were supposed to have valet at the emergency dep but instead had a sign which said they were full. The parking lot for valet was extremely small and the attendants made us park across the street. I had to pay for parking and walk with one kid in arms and the sick one by hand. Second, they had long wait times and I was told we could leave 1h hour after treatment but did not until 2 hours later total of 5hrs Ended up leaving midnight after being there since 7pm for my sons allergic reaction. The nurses should of caught the wheezing earlier but didn’t which resulted in longer wait since the doc had to give epi pen hours later. Will not be back at this location.

Thank god my wife used to be a NICU nurse. We went into this ER and the doctors kept saying it seems like our son has asthma. My wife kept trying to hint to them that it didn’t make sense and there was no evidence to conclude asthma. She insisted on a chest x-ray due to his fast breathing, fever and breathing from his abdomen. It turned out after they did the X-ray my son does have pneumonia and we’re now in the pediatric intensive care ( where everyone seems to actually know what they are doing, not like the ER we came from.) Tips for the doctors. Don’t think your always right and listen to your patients. We had to insist to get the right diagnosis but if I didn’t have my wife with me they would have easily just sent me home with an inhaler for my infant son. I’d recommend skipping this place and just go on over to the Scottish Rite where the ER will send your kid anyway if it’s bad. ( If you have to bring your child to the ER of course it’s bad enough already.)

THE SLOWEST CHOA EVER!!! The wait time is 45 minutes and I’ve been waiting for over an hour now. The only reason I came here because this where the ambulance took us. I will take that extra drive to Egleston or Scottish Rite. The worst group of staff ever here also. Not enough diversity of staff employed here at all. The lobby is dirty and smells really bad.
