Cumberland Academy of Georgia has been a God send for my granddaughter! She has flourished, regained her confidence in her ability to perform & excel in academics. The staff is dedicated, hardworking and devoted to the craft of teaching students with disabilities. I love the curriculum and incorporation of extra curricular activities.

I went to Cumberland Academy of Georgia for a total of five years. On Thursday, May 16th, I graduated from high school. During my experience here, even though some of the students were rude and disrespectful, I made so many great friends. Thank you Cole, Alec, Cameron, Saskia, Jackson, Matthew, Alex, Camille and Myah for being part of my nine best friends at the end. Even the teachers I met here were very helpful, even when I would get upset with them after a certain type of situation. To Mrs. Scarborough, Mr. Long, Ms. Nikki, Ms. Val, Ms. Ross, Mr. Downs, Mrs. Fineman, Mrs. Bishop, Mrs. Mensing, Mrs. Liang and everyone else who worked at Cumberland, you have always been so supportive of me and everyone else here at Cumberland! Thank you.

My son has thrived in this nurturing and creative school. The small class size and individual attention is an excellent model for kids with ASD. The teachers and staff are committed to not only academic success, but also the growth, happiness and maturity of each student. The parents provide a wonderful support system as well. My son loves Cumberland Academy of Georgia. We moved from out of state so he could attend this amazing and supportive school. The teachers get to know their students well and teach to their learning styles. My son also takes part in a lot of the sports, clubs, and extra curricular activities. After years of fighting school systems for an appropriate education for my son, we have finally found it at Cumberland.
