I went to this dentist many years ago but then moved out of the area. I have moved back to the area and went in to see them since I had such great experiences before. The office staff are all still very sweet and nice. But after x-rays and an exam I was told I would need gum surgery to the tune of 7000. To be fair I need to go to the dentist every 4-6 months for a cleaning because my gums aren't that great. And because of Covid I had not been in a year- one year not years. When I said I didn't have 7k they gave me info for a medical credit card. And said this was my only option. So I scheduled a consultation at another dentist that has a very good reputation. He did a brief exam and looked at my x-rays and told me I did not need gum surgery and that a deep cleaning and regular cleanings every 4 months will get me back in the right direction. I feel like Dental TLC is only after money and refuse to consider their patients finances. Do yourself a favor and if they suggest anything outside the norm please go get a second opinion. I am giving two stars instead of one because the office staff are so sweet and friendly.

Update: you can see the Owner’s response below my review. You can thank them for proving my point that you should go elsewhere. The ethics of this dentist make a used car salesman look good in comparison. I recommended them to a family member for a basic cleaning and exam, and instead they got NO cleaning, two hours of wasted time, and a proposal for almost 2500 of advanced dental work. This is for someone who has been to the dentist twice a year with no prior issues and without a single cavity before. It feels like they tried to pad the bill with unnecessary procedures. Dr. Patel should be ashamed. We will never return. Look elsewhere.
