My friend and I went on this food tour in Midtown and enjoyed the food, cultural info shared and the guide's history.

Being a food tour owner myself (East TN Tours in Knoxville, TN), it's always so cool to see how other people in other wonderful cities run theirs! I cannot say enough good things about John and his tour....this was my hubby and mine first trip to Atlanta EVER, and it was the perfect mix of getting to know great, yummy restaurants AND an informative history lesson! Definitely try to come on this tour at the beginning of your trip/stay if you can :) We went to 5 restaurants over the course of about 4 hours, eating at the first four \in house\ and taking to-go pastry/baked good treats with us from the last stop. The first stop was one of the best burgers you'll ever try in your life, the second stop was amazing \standard\ Southern dish, the third stop was two flavorful Italian plates (and you get a small-medium size alcoholic drink at the first 3 stops, too!), the fourth stop was a choice of coffee beverage with your pick of a cake/pie dessert, and the last 5th stop you get to pick 2 per person sweet and/or savory baked good pastry type things from a scrumptious sweet shop to eat for later (or then if you so choose!). The whole tour was sprinkled with great bits of history, stories, jokes, laughter, things to come and good company all around. All-in-all, TAKE THIS TOUR if you can next time you get to downtown/midtown Atlanta (the price is worth it!)
My friend and I really enjoyed the tour, the drinks and the food. Thanks to Leigh and Karen. They were very kind and joyful!!
This was my 1st ever food tour and it changed my life! It was almost a year ago, and this is a review of the procrastinator but better late than never right? Anyway, I went on the Atlanta tour Sept. 2018. I believe Rachel was the name of our guide. Everything about this tour was wonderful. I experienced restaurants I didn't know exsisted. The food was amazing and I really enjoyed the drinks. We even made our own cocktails at the last stop. The history is also another part that I enjoyed in the tour. This was such a positive experience, that I did the St. Thomas tour through this same company on my anniversary cruise and got my husband hooked on food tours as well. We went on another food tour in a city outside of the ones offered here, but we hope to get the other two cities that Flavors offers one of these days. If you are visiting a city like Atlanta or the other three places on a trip, I highly recommend this food tour. It's a delightful and delicious way to experience a place in just a few hours. It's especially great if you're just in town for a day or two as the couple that joined us in Atlanta, or as our trip to St. Thomas on a cruise port stop. Thank you Flavors for kicking off my new traveling hobby and basically turning me into a foodie!
