So far, I have been having a great experience with MLA. I was previously contacted by a recruiter for a role that I was ultimately not selected for but the recruiter was so kind, humble, and responsive I hoped to work with her again. Fast forward a couple of months and they reached out to see if I was interested in another role that matched my skills. I was taken aback. Typically, when people say they will \keep your resume on file\, you never hear from them again! They actually kept their word. Ultimately, I was chosen for the role with a company so sought after that my resume would have been lost in a wave of applicants had this been posted traditionally. On boarding is going very smoothly and my recruiter is very kind and responsive. I will update this review later if things change but I wanted to ight the wrong\ of the 1-star reviews given two years ago. I don't know if those recruiters still work at MLA (I have not met them) but in 2021, MLA doesn't deserve a 1-star Google rating, IMHO.

They are simply awful! The male African-America attorney in this office is extremely insecure about his looks. If you are another African-American male, attractive attorney, and have to interview with him, YOU WILL NOT GET THE JOB! Don't trust a word that he says! He will lie to your face!

Major, Lindsey, Africa or MLA is a joke! The company hires failed less than mediocre Attorney's to serve as the \face\ for their law firm under the \Managing Director\, job title but they are really first-time BASIC recruiters with zero experience of recruiting. What type of REAL attorney would pursue a career as a entry-level RECRUITER? If you are a client, think twice before you hire a entry-level failed attorney to deliver a premium Attorney for your project or company. These failed Attorney's turned \Managing Directors/Recruiters\ are a total joke! We will never use them again! Ever!

They solicited a \JW\ partner from their competitor, the Lucas Group and he's working as a Director for them right now. I didn't feel comfortable giving them my busy. I felt this was unethical. On another note, the lawyer turned recruiter/Managing Director, William DeVane Tidwell or \W. Devane Tidwell\ and Robert \Bob Graff\ was a jerk to us.
