Fantastic food! Like, really really good. Great outdoor eating area with heat lamps for the winter. Fast and easy takeout experience. BUT MAN IS IT EXPENSIVE. For example, unless you buy a side, you're going to want the 12 large okonomiyaki. For vegetables on top it's an extra 2. For a fried egg on top it's an extra 2.5! For an egg! However you slice it, if you want to be full when you leave, you're looking at a 20 meal per person in my experience. They're also not open for lunch currently except Saturdays, which is a bummer because Okonomiyaki is the best hangover food! Please consider opening for lunch and adding a lunch menu or specials menu or something because I would love to come here more often, but most of the time I just can't justify the price.

Authentic Japanese bar food at a local atlanta spot with an edge. The menu includes okonomiyaki, yaki soba, onigiri, kaarage chicken, tonkatsu - all prepared without cutting corners and true to their original recipes. The atmosphere is a mix of Japanese inspired decor and local east ATL flavor, and nothing is forced. A big win for Atlanta! Go out and support them.
Just tried it for the first time last night. Absolutely tasty food for a reasonable price. The patio was super safe and open. Will definitely be back on the regular.
One of our absolute favorites in ATL! The food is phenomenal. We don’t repeat restaurants much, but this is definitely one of the few in our rotation. Highly recommend!
Wow I feel so lucky living next to their new location on Moreland. This place has everything to become a regular spot for me. Great outdoor seating with individual heaters, great service, and awesome unique food!! Once they get their liquor license it will be hard to just drive by without stopping!! I enjoyed their okonomiyaki with mushroom and cheese, I only got the half order and that was perfectly filling! My boyfriend got their kombu burger and said it was one of the best burgers he’s had. We split an age onigiri which is fried rice with cheese in it...What could be better than that?! Do yourself a favor and try OK Yaki next time you are looking for a unique and delicious meal.
