The food looks amazing, but it just tastes okay. The rib tips were a little tough and the sauce was nothing special, the mac n cheese didn't taste cheesy or have much flavor and the sweet potato souffle had a weird flavor - didn't have the usual yummy spices I expected. The cornbread was the best thing on my plate. The wait time was a bit much, but that was expected and we shopped to waste time. The staff was friendly - no complaints there. Cute place and the prices weren't too bad. I loved the music though; big plus. Overall, I enjoyed the experience. I just wish the food was as delicious as it looked.

Cool little spot to eat comfort food and listen to music...like a family picnic but inside. Everything on the menu would be something you would get from your Aunties kitchen. The food was good, reasonable portions, and the service was super friendly. The fried deviled eggs are a must try!!!

This food was PERFECTION!!!! Affordable and huge portions, I could barely finish my meal. I had fried chicken, collard greens, mac and cheese plus candied yams. Sad I had no space for dessert...ugh. I know it would have been great. The fried deviled eggs were delicious! The corn bread just WOW!!! Go. Eat it all! Be prepared to wait but it is worth it. Great service as well.

I went to surprise my wife for her birthday because I knew she was fascinated about one of the owners. We got there at 7pm Sunday, it wasn't packed at all and people were still going in. I dropped my wife off at the door and went to park. How about they turned her around at the door saying they're not taking any more customers. 1 WHOLE hour before closing. Now a friend recommended this restaurant but not this particular one, but the one on Camp Creek if I'm saying it right. I guess I should've went there because this one gave us their behind to kiss. I guess you're suppose to support your own even though they don't really feel like supporting you. But I will say thank you for turning us around because the Mexican Restaurant around the corner, No Mas! Cantina welcomed us right on in. Everyone was having a really good time! The food, drinks and service were great! Again! Thank you for showing us your REAL SOUTHERN HOSPITALITY and turning us away Old Lady Gang! We really appreciate you for pointing us in the RIGHT direction.

Our party of three thought that every dish that came across the table was fantastic! You have to try the deep fried deviled eggs and the fried green tomatoes. One of my friends had the shrimp grits and the other had the chicken and French toast. They said it was delicious! My favorite was the collard greens. I have traveled all around the country eating greens and this by far was the best I've ever eaten! They've set a high bar! Thank you for your hospitality, incredible food and great service!!!
