Patton Hall is a dining hall on the Georgia State University campus. It is a buffet. The food is different every day, but there is usually a wide selection of fruits, vegetables, salads, main dishes, and desserts. The vegan options are pretty slim. If you like milkshakes and chicken wings, then Friday is the best day to go. Every Friday, they have milkshakes and chicken wings. :DDD

Has good food. You need a fingerprint scan to get I thought. You need access cards to get above the first floor. It's pretty secure. Would recommend.

Pros: Great place to make friends, rooms are fairly clean, generally pretty quiet, security is good, free laundry, water pressure is good Cons: The food is a hit or miss. Some days it's pretty good, some days it's just the worst. Also, rooms are fairly small, especially if you're a big person or claustrophobic. Showers are abysmally small. Sometimes maintenance can take forever, and the elevators will sometimes break down. Also, the windows don't open up very much.

Dining Hall food: Can range from beautiful and amazing to horrific, depending on the chef for the day. Generally, breakfast and lunch are going to be good no matter what. They have a made-to-order area that rotates between burgers, smoothies, and some other stuff throughout the week. You will always be able to make a balanced meal with the selections from the buffet area, which is a big plus when you are trying to avoid the \freshman fifteen\. They also occasionally have a nutritionist that can help you pick the best foods for the week. Residence Hall: There is an RA on duty 24/7 that makes sure that only residents and their guests enter the hall. There is also a card scanner that will only allow students registered in university housing up to the resident area. Rooms are three people to a two room, one bath suite. They can get cramped with guests, but do well with the cheap freshman housing.
