The BEST and most EFFICIENT emergency room in metro Atlanta. I was cared for like a was more than just another body in the ER. The staff treated me very well and with respect. They took my concerns seriously, diagnosed me with accuracy and got me out as fast as they could. Thank you Piedmont Emergency staff for treating me so well from the time I entered until the moment I left. You guys rock!

If there was an option of zero stars that’s what they would receive. I went into the er a week ago for a head ache, before signing and documents I asked the person doing my impatient check in if my health insurance would fully cover my cost. He let me know that it would, then I proceeded to sign. A little over a week later I received a text message saying that I have to pay a bill because they didn’t accept my healthcare. If I was told the truth I would have never went on with being treated there. I am a college student who just moved from Chicago to Atlanta and I don’t appreciate people who are supposed to be honorable lying to their patients just to get a few bucks. I’m am very disappointed in the intake team for taking my insurance twice and not being truthful when asked questions. And I know race has nothing to do with what happened, but I’m even more disappointed that it was a black man who lied to me, a black women.

Firstly, i just want to say that i am very aware of the inconvenience and changes do to COVID-19 at all hospitals however, the wait time is outrageous! I’ve been sitting in the waiting room in excruciating pain at an “emergency” center for almost 3 hours now; i can barely walk and not one nurse has offered a wheel chair at the least. The staff seems to be more concerned w/ their own side conversations than the actual patients ! This is an issue that needs to be addressed and tended to!

I came in today with Covid like symptoms. Needless to say, my anxiety levels were high. The doctor and nurses were attentive and caring. I tested negative but they sent me home with a great health plan.

We’ve had to come 2 times in the past 2 weeks due to elevated blood pressure in the 200\\100 range. We were seen and treated within minutes on both occasions. I felt we received outstanding care.
