Dawn did an amazing job capturing our proposal and engagement. I was completely floored with how incredible the photos came out (even though I thought I was ugly crying the whole time LOL)! She made me feel so comfortable too afterwards when we took some posed shots. Dawn also totally exceeded our expectations and turned around the images so quickly with such high quality. I'd highly recommend her for engagement photos! Thank you Dawn for capturing such a special moment that we'll be able to look back on for the rest of our lives.
Dawn is beyond an amazing photographer. Her photos turn out beautiful with just minimal editing unlike many of the other wedding photographers we looked into. Dawn and her staff did a great job of making us feel comfortable in front of the camera, which was something important to us. We hired her for our wedding and couldn't imagine having any other photographer. She photographed us for an engagement shoot as well which was very comforting having met her before the day of our wedding. She was extremely helpful in meeting together to go over any of our concerns. She is also very quick to respond which is lovely! We had just moved to the Atlanta area and had no recommendations from anyone. Luckily we came across Poetry & Paper and I hope anyone reading this review won't hesitate to book her! We will be happily using her for all of our future photography needs!
Dawn was great! She was on time, professional and really helped with the flow of the day. My venue was a little challenging with the timeline and she did a good job managing my wants and needs as well as the venue's. There were some things the venue was more strict on but Dawn found special ways to creatively work around them to make sure I was happy. I was initially attracted to Dawn because of her more editorial style. My vision was to have a whimsical, fairy-tale-like tone to my photos and she captured that essence very well. Dawn did a great job of capturing the little moments instead of posing everything which is what a good photographer does. I was very pleased with her team too. They took a ton of photos of the groom and his groomsmen and they had a lot of fun. I highly recommend her for your special occasion.
We are extremely happy with our experience with Poetry and Paper. Dawn listened to what we wanted and delivered. She is very gifted and passionate about her profession and it shows in her work. Dawn was great at communicating and getting back with all of our questions. I would highly recommend using Poetry and Paper.
