I’m grateful another lawyer referred me to David Pollan to help my mother who had a stroke and needed to qualify for Medicaid. The nursing home applied for Medicaid for my mother and she was denied because she had too much money and had rental property. We were being billed more that 7 thousand dollars a month. David helped my mother get qualified for Medicaid and he was able to protect most of her assets. David made Medicaid cover her nursing home expenses when her Medicare skilled rehab benefits were used up. The lawyer who referred me to David said he knows the Medicaid laws like no other attorney in Georgia and he would know the best way possible to help our mother - she was right!!! Before I got any referrals for an elder lawyer, I called several other lawyers I found on the internet and not a single one would speak to me before I scheduled a consultation. When I called David’s office, he actually spoke with me for 30 minutes before I made an appointment and put my mind at ease. When my husband and I met with David, He helped explain the Medicaid laws that are extremely complicated reviewed everything we spoke about in a letter afterwards. After David got my mother’s Medicaid approved, he and his staff are always available to help me make sure I don’t make any mistakes. David was happy to see my mother at her nursing home in Marietta so he could answer her questions in person. My family and I really appreciate his patience, kindness, and help.
