Dr. Bootstaylor delivered our son in December. Because of Dr. B and the wonderful See Baby team, we felt empowered and equipped to have the birth we desired. As first time parents, it was important that we felt comfortable and cared for at each prenatal visit and that no question was too silly. Everyone from front desk staff, to the midwives, to the ultrasound techs, to Dr. B spent the time we needed to feel at ease and confident in our pregnancy journey. During delivery, Dr. B’s arrival brought an overwhelming calmness to the room which was a clear contrast to the sense of chaos that had been slowly building. There aren’t enough words to express our gratitude to Dr. B and the entire See Baby team for the safe delivery of our baby boy.

I had went to Atlanta Perinatal for my first ultrasound and had a terrible experience and after asking around I landed on this practice. BEST DECISION! The doctor was extremely patient, explained the ultrasound thoroughly, very professional while being relatable, kind, and warm spirited. I felt assured and as if I was speaking to someone who although meeting me for the first time had my complete and utter best interest at heart and in mind. I don’t believe I’ve ever had such a top notch experience with a medical professional before. Dr. B was phenomenal! I wish his level of care was the standard rather than the exception. I enjoyed my experience so much I called to the office on my way home to see if he did deliveries. Turns out he doesn’t any more but definitely will be going to him for my care in the future.
Please know this short review can’t express the immense gratitude I have when I reflect on the birth of my first child. I had an amazing experience with SeeBaby. I transferred to them around 24 weeks because I just didn’t feel confident that my previous Ob/Gyn had my best interest in mind (I had been with them for 4years and experienced several issues). The midwives are great, and they always gave this first time mom more information than I knew I needed. I never felt rushed out of my appointments or pushed along. I felt heard, understood and most of all, HUMAN. During this pandemic, I couldn’t bring my spouse into my check up appointments (I could FaceTime him though), but thankfully he could come to the ultrasound appointments and the follow up with Dr. Bootstaylor. Dr. B attended my birth and he was absolutely amazing. The WellStar AMC L&D staff were amazing too. My baby girl came earlier than expected and my doula was in South Carolina at the time, but Dr. B and the nurses were so supportive, it allowed my husband to tend to me and journey with me through the natural process. I’ve been recommending SeeBaby to every mama I know! As a black woman, who is used to being pushed along by medical personnel, this is the first experience I’ve had where I actually felt seen, heard and supported by medical professionals. Very thankful for my experience with SeeBaby and the entire SeeBaby staff (front desk to Dr. B) they’re all GREAT.
I recently had my second natural birth with Dr. Bootstaylor and the SEEBABY team. In both pregnancies and deliveries they have done an incredible job with making me feel supported and informed while also giving me the options to decide how I wanted both of my births to go. With their guidance, I felt in control and empowered in my pregnancy and birth experiences! They made my husband and I’s experiences incredibly special, as my husband helped deliver and caught both of my babies — experiences he will never forget and that have brought him into happy tears! After an awful experience at a different practice for my prenatal care, I decided to seek something more in alignment with what I needed. I found SEEBABY through quite a few recommendations and reviews. As a first time pregnant woman, I wanted to go where I felt supported and heard. SEEBABY is just that place. Ellen, my midwife is an incredible nurse alongside Dr. Bootstaylor! They take their time and give you their full attention — they don’t just rush you out of the door. The entire staff, in fact, from the ladies at the front desk to the ultrasound tech, they just make you feel safe and supported as soon as you walk into the door. Understanding that the dynamic between provider and patient can be a positive one, where I’m not afraid to ask questions (even at 9 or 10cm dilated!) is something I will forever cherish and be thankful for. I appreciate this team and highly recommended to anyone in the Atlanta area who is going through their own pregnancy and birth experience!
In April of 2019 I had my EVC procedure with Dr. BootsTaylor. I was 38 weeks and my baby was in complete breech position (criss cross apple sauce). Dr. BootsTaylor made this such an effortless procedure.. came into the room extremely calm and focused with his soft yet reassuring voice. When I asked about my babies position.. his response “he’s in a position for a breech birth” such a positive affirmation! On the first go round my baby hadn’t turned, second try WAAAALA! Baby is in position to give natural birth. I cried! I’m so grateful for Physicians such as Dr. BootsTaylor.. Thank you!
