Delicious burgers with a fun atmosphere. The decor is quite unique. Prices are as expected for Atlanta. The acid trip drink was delicious and they have a variety of beer on tap. We had the fried pickle spears and cheese curds as appetizers. Which were both flavorful. I recommend the restaurant. I do not recommend the parking lot across the street as our vehicle was broken into and my luggage stolen but this is in no way the fault of the restaurant. I would recommend parking a in ramp nearby instead.

The Vortex Bar & Grill is for adults only. The bar has great drinks and there is often a special on the board. The Lemon Drop shot was my favorite drink. The Buttery Nipple is quite good also. The food is cooked to perfection. I really enjoyed the loaded potato salad and the salad. This a great place to hangout and catch up with friends.
I had a little family gathering here, we were 7 people. The waitress Beth was extremely attentive and had a total sweetheart personality. We had to split our group into 2 tables given the Corona virus situation which was completely understandable. Beth was very accurate with our order, checked on us consistently and the kitchen had our food finished within a timely manner. I couldn't give the vortex in midtown anything less than 5 stars, everybody did a great job and the food was amazing to say the least! Thank you Beth and to the kitchen staff!
Great Food & Atmosphere. Just don't go during Covid. Newly hired host, make announcements due to the pandemic, there is a 60 minute dining time. Thay have security walking around questioning how long guest have been seated. Thus, whether guest are still ordering or not, we were under scrutiny of how long we have been in the establishment.
The place is nice with a perfect atmosphere. Worker are welcoming and so helpful they have wide variety of drinks and burgers. I like its located in this energetic place so you can set out door at the patio and enjoy Atlanta’s Midtown scenery.
