A one star review for this facility is certainly overrated, but in order to post this review, I had to award at least one star. Since arriving last week with a fractured vertebrae, my mother finally received her first bath in over a week today. Over the weekend, she was not served dinner or breakfast within a 24 hour period of time because she was told the staff \forgot\. Several members of our family have tried to reach staff and have left messages, over several days, but have not had phone calls returned. Due to COVID protocol, we are not allowed inside the facility to check on our mother's wellbeing. We were told we could bring her approved personal items (heated blanket, socks, etc.)and we did so today, however, they were not delivered to her. Her medication is not being administered as prescribed by her doctor and she has suffered unnecessary pain as a result. We were finally able to speak to a nurse over the weekend who informed us that the facility is severely understaffed and she was doing her best for 24 residents on her own. The food is inedible and is always cold . Her calls for assistance are ignored and since she is a fall risk, this puts her in peril. Today I left two messages since no human answers the reception phone. Messages were left for a request for a call from the Executive Director, social worker, nurse on call--ANYONE!!!! No calls were returned. Since so many attempts have been made to get the care my mother requires , I have determined I have no choice but to appeal to the state officials in this industry tomorrow.

This is for your Aviv rehab center. You employed a crooked dr aka Alex Rikhter. I would rate your rehab center exponentially negative if I could because of such a crooked dishonest Dr. And the fact that you don't care is not surprising. If you have a loved one that needs rehab, Do NOT send them here. Edit- the reason I have a problem with your Aviv rehabilitation center is because of Alex. You allowed him to \work\ with you. This was a few years ago but the problem never disappeared and you were in fact told of the issue (a few years ago) and had no response. So my review still stands.

Growing up in Atlanta, I had heard good things about Bremen, so when my 82 year old mother was recovering from hip surgery it was the place we called. This was the most horrible experience anyone in our family have ever experienced, they should be shut down. Nurses would not respond to my moms buzzer, but she could hear them outside her door cutting up and laughing. When they finally came in, they told her on more than one occasion that her buzzer must be broken. They did not check her bandage for five days even though the instructions from the hospital said to change it daily. They said they did not see the discharge papers. When someone did look at it there was a lot of old blood but since there was no doctor in the building to see it, the doctor they called on the phone, without seeing it, sent her in an ambulance to the ER in the hospital. She was confused and scared. The doctor in the ER called me when she arrived and said it was terrible they sent her, her bandage just needed to be changed, so they sent this poor confused woman back in an ambulance to Bremen. It was almost impossible to get people to call you back. Two contacts I had are off for the weekend with no forwarding number, just voice mail that no one answers on the weekend. When you call the facility, you get transferred to someone who has zero authority. I could go on and on, but you get the gist! Save your family heartache and go somewhere else.

Love them and the care they are giving my 90 year old father-in-law. Kind. Compassionate. We could not ask for more.

I am grateful that during this Covid-19 crisis they are taking wonderful care of my father, keeping him safe and healthy.
