Professors are great but don't let this be your only reason for entering the program. UGA's PMBA program is pushing for higher participation to increase revenue and is not careful of only admitting fully qualified professionals. Many of the students are limited in job experience, if any, and are fresh out of undergrad school. Quality of fellow students is very important to the experience of an MBA program. It appears that professors can become frustrated by this lack of quality and heavily curve grading, likely under administration guidelines to achieve completion rates to boost the program. The program is run by an administration that is about the equivalent of dealing with a registrar at an undergraduate school, too busy to care and very disorganized. The bottom line is the mighty dollar with this program. However, it won't transfer to your pockets unless you are just looking for letters to add behind your name. The UGA PMBA career center makes a state labor department look like a top notch location for career information and searches. Junior colleges have better relationships, career fairs and opportunities with employers. Unless you are just a middle class white kid with money to spend from your parents, don't waste your time or money. It's more like attending a high school than a graduate school.
