Facts • I used to pay a premium price for auto-refills. Despite this, Atlas Glen-mor let my tank run out of oil during the coldest week we have had in New England for years. • I was put on hold for 45 minutes each time I called Atlas Glen-mor (I had to call at least 8 times in the span of 24 hours). • Atlas Glen-mor didn’t care that I have two kids (ages 5 and 8) and that we had to leave our home because temperatures reached 31 F inside the house. • Atlas Glen-mor will not give you a time estimate when they will come to your house. Furthermore, they do not call the second phone number on file, if you don’t answer their first and only call to let you know they are coming to your house. • Our basement pipes froze and a pipe in my living room broke, due to my house not having heat for days during the coldest week in New England. I had to pay close to 1,000 for a plumber to come at 11pm Saturday night to fix my broken pipes. There is damage in my living room floor, basement ceiling and wall. All due to the fact that Atlas Glen-mor left me with no oil and “couldn’t” get me service on the same day. • Atlas Glen-mor never came to prime my system, I had to pay 200 for “emergency service” to another oil company that sent someone 2 hours after I called for help, while Atlas Glen-mor, my oil company for the past 8 years, didn’t send someone for over 48 hours. • Bottom line: as a result of Atlas Glen-mor’s incompetence and negligence, my kids and I had to leave our home for 4 full days and I had to spend thousands of dollars simply because Atlas Glen-mor let my tank run out of oil. Atlas Glen-mor has the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

If I could rate lower, I would. I purchased my home in 2016, this company had already been assigned to me to deliver oil. The first year was fine, they delivered (400) each time for delivery. As the winter months went on, I couldn't keep up with paying the 400 they wanted right away or I wouldn't get next delivery. I called and spoke to many people at this company, who never once mentioned a payment plan to me, expected the money upfront. I would pay 100, 150 at times. they told me that was not good enough. I had put in a delivery request because I was low on oil and in the winter time, they told me it would be 24-48 hours . From not receiving oil, I called company and who ever I spoke to never put in the delivery! I then cancelled my services with them, and found a new company, with a budget plan that works for me, and are much more pleasant & helpful to speak to. Since canceling, I have received letters in the mail offering me low rates, and of course even payment plans( never once offered that to me before) I still had a balance with them , in which they sent a lawyer after me.(not like I wasn't trying to pay off the balance or anything) I would never refer anyone to this company, and even a co worker of mine had them and switched , cant imagine why?!?!?!

They wanted 250 for oil furnace tune-up when the market rate is 150. They charged 4.70 a gallon for oil heating when the state average was 3.50. I did a quick Google search for oil prices in my area; the price were all below 3.00. According to MA state survey, the lowest price last week was 2.66. The highest price last week was 4.50. Their prices were 0.20 higher than the highest state price, last week. I called them up to ask what they deal was. They said 3.50 was the average! Yeah and 3.00 is below average and 4.70 is price gouging. They offered to sell me oil at 4.11 if I signed a contract with them. Wow! They'll only over-charge 0.61 if you go by state average. If you go by market prices, then you get to overpay by 1.11!!! Wow!

I was a customer for two years where they had prices a bit above average. The service was decent so I was fine with it. Then they suddenly started charging me about 30% above market rate. When I called to try and figure out why they made poor arguments and tried to trick me into signing up for a price controlled plan which was overpriced where they could charge me even more money. I had good experiences with the tech who came out to do a cleaning, but watch out for scams from this company and sudden price changes. I'm getting my oil elsewhere now and am much happier.

Been with them for awhile on / off... No issues other than prices were high however I just locked in with a CAP under 2 gal. for 1st year with a 1st fill up under 1.45 w/ a free service plan. I'm happy, peace of mind... keep it up Atlas!

I did this give this place 5 stars but i am taking them all back.. I just called because i placed an order (last week) to get a delivery for today and i was assured by 3 different reps I would get it. Now after being on hold for over and hour, i tell her i have 5 kids and need it now because i just ran out of oil because the guy never came..she hangs up on me. Before that she says they can give me a quick 20 gallons..ok so you can swing by and give me 20 gallons but you cant swing by and fill up my tank...thanks for making me sleep in the freezing weather and hanging up on me. Super helpful.

Crooks....I have been a customer for two years. I will say, their service is excellent, they respond extremely quickly to issues or rush deliveries. HOWEVER, be VERY wary of their pricing!!! I do the monthly pay plan with price protection so I pay over 10 months and pay an extra 0.13/gallon to cap myself at 3.89/gallon should prices go crazy. My price is determined by their "market price 13 cents" on that delivery date. Had my first delivery of the season this week and was charged 3.87/gallon. Looking at the bill I thought that sounded awfully high considering where oil prices are this year compared to the last few years. Upon calling Atlas Glen Mor to inquire as to the high price I was instantly told the price had dropped to 3.77 today so they would honor that price and credit my account. I told them that was still about 70 cents higher than other providers in my area, after being put on hold for a brief minute they came back and lowered it 35 cents/gallon!! How is it that simple? Why as a loyal customer who just re-upped for the year was I getting HOSED at 3.87 and all I had to do was make a phone call to get it reduced by 35 cents/gallon??? That's just bad business practice with your loyal customer, give us the best rate UP FRONT or I seriously suggest people their business elsewhere!!!!

II was a customer for 3 years and over the last 2 years the service has gone down hill. You have to be on top of these guys to get a fair price. They claim they are more convenient and offer higher quility service than a cash on delivery service, but to get a fair price it realy is not.
