Angry Snowboarder

Here's the thing I know about snowboard shops. Not all of them are the same and it shows. Backwoods is one of the exemplary core shops that goes above and beyond for its locals as well as those that live 2,200 miles away and break a boot that is a common size and harder to find than a needle in a haystack. Having worked in the snowboard industry for 20 plus years I have no problem slapping my seal of approval on this shop at this point in time for how they took care of me. Shout out to Chad for helping me out when I was in a bind.

Time for some new sneakers, and I researched Vans online. So many retail stores still shut down from the pandemic. I almost ordered these shoes online, and then I found out that Backwoods Snowboards sold them. Stopped in, and they had the shoes I wanted in the right color and size. Woo hoo! Sales guy was friendly and helpful. Price was same as online from Vans. These are my first pair of Vans. So far I really like them. I need good cushioning for my feet, and these have what Vans calls their Pop Cush. It's working! I recommend both the shoes and the store.

These guys rock!! I spent 15 years in the high drive service industry of Portland and the past 5 managing a family owned grow shop. I have no connection to this store other than my purchase today.. 5 stars is not enough to show just how good these guys are!! The time and concern they took for my purchase of an all new Burton setup was incredible. The store was jamming and they still took the time to answer my questions without rushing any decision. The hour drive was so worth it.. Backwoods has earned my business and that of my minions for lyfe!! Thank you thank you thank you!! Can’t wait to crush the local mountains with my fresh new gear!!
