Great little park tucked away unexpectedly. Well maintained and recently expanded trails.

Really pretty woodland trail. Not very long and not only slight gradients so suitable for all ages. Marshland or boardwalk is currently closed and alot of the boardwalk is sunken into the lake/stream. I found out the hard way. Lol all in all enjoyable! Some lovely places to picnic or camp. The gazebo area near the parking lot has free books to read while there, which is very nice. And a coal BBQ area.

[please \like\ if this is helpful] A beautiful park with six small cabins, community house, pavilion, clean restroom, marked trail systems. All recently updated, with much volunteer work done by various Boy Scout troops. Heaps of love went into making this a usable nature preserve for the public. Lots of poison ivy just about everywhere (even at the trailhead). I don't recommend walking your sweet puppy here, nor letting small kids stray near the edges of the trails. Still worth going -- learn about nature .. enjoy the beauty. No cost for parking as of date of this review.

One of Oakland Counties best kept secrets! I have frequented this park year round for many years. Beautiful, well maintained, and I always see wildlife. The trails meander through forest, marsh and there's a sizable pond there too. Can't wait to see the new nature center lodge. Oh, and my dogs love it too!
