This is a lovely place to enjoy nature in Auburn, AL. Free admission to the park and cheap admission to events makes it easy to enjoy. The nature playground is a great spot to let kids explore and play. Don't forget to check out the little free library in the treehouse while you are there. If you are up for a hike there is much beauty to explore with a lovely turtle pond tucked in the middle of the preserve. I always feel better after time spent at the Kreher Preserve and Nature Center.

Lovely forested area on the transition between the Piedmont and Coastal Plain. Well marked trails, lovely sensory garden (although right now they ask for no touching), picnic and playground area, pond, butterfly garden - so many interesting parts to visit. The also have great programs, especially for children.

A little gem right in Auburn! Great place to go and just unplug from the daily grind for a short while. Nice little surprises to find along your walk, including a small waterfall. Just stand and listen with your eyes closed for a few minutes!
