While using the computer, I was asked to cover my nose with my mask. Perhaps the standards were misunderstood by library facility staff, as mandated by health and government officials. If you are within 6 feet of others, you should wear a mask that prevents the spread of microbes from one person to another. If you are sitting there distanced from other patrons, a mask is able to be removed at will, so long as others are not within 6 feet of you. Wearing my mask while shopping at Walmart, for example, where you are constantly passing others in aisles is a prime example of when to constantly wear a mask as a prevention method for the transmission of the Covid virus. Adding restrictions to the State's already stringent requirements based on medical knowledge seems a bit overkill in my humble opinion. While respecting the library staff and the opportunity to work there when I need to, I would hope that they would review the recommendation of the State's health officials and then relax a bit. The stations are all sanitized after every use... Kudos for doing all you are doing to keep the public and yourselves safe.
