My mother has had more than her share of hospitalizations for COPD, Pneumonia, Human Metapneumovirus... I've even been told in the hospital by doctors that she wouldn't make it through the night, but she somehow did. She's been a patient at McAuley Manor on a few occasions and has come out of there in drastically improved physical shape and a mental state of mind that I never thought were possible after what she's been through. Even if I could afford the best rehab facility who doesn't accept medicaid/medicare, I wouldn't ever want her to go anywhere else. When she goes to McAuley, the piece of mind alone that she gets from feeling comfortable has been a big part of her recovery there.

This place is a disgrace and I would leave a 0 if possible. My Grandmother had the worst stay here. The entire time she was in a room that would not ventilate. You could not even breathe walking into the room, I had to keep opening a window and then closi g it because it would get too cold. This caused huge fluctuations in the temperature in the room resulting in sickness. Time and time again I asked them to change the room or fix the issue. Of couse they just lie and say its taken care of, long behold it was not. For weeks we had to deal with this nonsense to no avail. Bottom line, if you actually love your loved one, find a different place.
