Our 5-year-old daughter began seeing Ms. Megan for occupational therapy at BDI just before the pandemic hit. We had noticed a few sensory issues and had hoped to address them before kindergarten started. Little did we know the incredible impact Megan and BDI would have on not only our daughter, but our family as a whole. A child who once refused to wear certain clothes, who would not let anyone brush her hair, who became inconsolable during meltdowns, has done a complete 180. Through OT and her time with Ms. Megan, she has found the confidence and tools needed to be a happy and adventurous kid. Meltdowns are far and few between now and, when they do happen, she knows how to calm herself and we know how to support her. Our frustrations have disappeared as we've also learned skills to help her. Most recently, she started horseback riding lessons - an activity she was terrified to try before. We are so grateful BDI is a resource to our community and our children!

We love BDI, and we love our daughter’s wonderful speech therapist Jess K. She is so knowledgeable and is also a great listener and is very intuitive. Jess is one of our daughter’s favorite people and she runs to therapy each session smiling and singing her name. We have been seeing Jess for over 1.5 years. Jess comes up with creative ways to elicit the speech sounds we need to work on, she provides easy homework and at home ideas to practice at home and really cares about knowing our whole family, not just our daughter. We have built a great working relationship and I am so grateful to have her working with us! The gym and facility at BDI is wonderful. I love that our daughter can play and wiggle and be active while she does her speech - it is motivating and fun. It also gives her the chance to be social and work on speaking to other kids. All the staff, particularly Sherry, Ruby and Sue are helpful and compassionate which is important when dealing with tricky matters in insurance and billing. Thanks to everyone at BDI for being caring and bringing your best effort each time to come.

BDI holds a special place in our heart because I truly don't know where we would be without them. The staff are not only informative, professional, and friendly but they are life-changing. When strategies failed and I felt hopeless, they offered solutions and together we celebrated enormous victories. My daughter enjoys going to the facility and has grown so much in such a short amount of time.

I cannot say enough about BDI . . . . they are all fantastic!! From the staff “behind” the scenes answering the phones, acting as new client liaisons, scheduling current clients and taking care of billing! They are all kind and understanding. We have an AMAZING SLP and OT! They really know how to work with kiddos with all types of learning abilities! The therapist are not only extremely knowledgeable they are dedicated, respectful, patient and they really strive to provide a positive learning environment. My son absolutely LOVES going to BDI. The atmosphere and what they have to offer is highly motivating and our therapist have really gone above and beyond to support us with learning at home and in school. I recommend BDI to anyone looking for private therapies whether it’s for Speech, OT and or PT!
