DO NOT USE THIS PLACE. I had booked a vehicle 3 weeks prior to when I needed the vehicle. I received a confirmation email and even called to ensure that my vehicle would be there the day I needed, and I was told yes. So I arrive the day of my reservation and after waiting the lobby for 15 minutes (being passed my multiple employees as if I did not exist) I was finally asked what my name was. I told them and then I was told \Yea we ain't got your car.\ I asked why not and was told \We don't get the type you picked here.\ So I asked why I would be able to book it, why I was never notified, and why I was told my reservation was valid when I called. I was rudely informed \Well I dont know.\ and then instead of offering to get me into another vehicle, the employees just walked away from me. Awful experience.

if i could give dis place a negative star review i would the lady on the phone in Lake st location sounds like she hates her job Everytime she answers the phone and also asks questions that has nothing to do with my car rental. asking questions that could probably get her fired. ive seen bad customer service but of course my own city has shown me the worst customer service DON'T EVER RENT FROM LAKE ST LOCATION
I would not rent a car for this Hertz in North aurora Very bad service when you call and need simple answers. Dirty car when you receive vehicle go to Enterprise instead much better cars not clean cars
Overall a bad time. The car smelled so strongly of cigarettes and fake new car smell that I could taste it and smelled like it when I got out. No one would help me or answer the phone. I’ve never rented from hertz before, was made to by my insurance after a woman smashed into my car. The man was unfriendly, didn’t pick us up for an hour when they were 7 min down the street the CarStar has to call them 3 times. I’m just glad this stressful experience is over.
The are very disrespectful and rude. Didn’t care to help me at all
