Very unprofessional. We were accused of saying things we never said, blamed for poor planning on their organizations part, and left feeling verbally attacked. We are a family that wanted to make a difference to a child. We are both working professionals in leadership roles. The interactions we had with social workers, that are supposed to be trained on how to interact with people, blew our minds. An absolute disappointment these are people watching out for our village's children and families.

My experience with LSSI wasn't the best... They are very unprofessional; they don't like for foster parent to speak up for themselves and they don't like foster parents to ask them questions about things we don't understand. I been a foster parent with LSSI since June 2013 and it's been very bad for me since then... I became a foster parent because I love to help people; and I want to give some kids the live they are missing from their love ones. And give them since home to call their home. LSSI don't let you know how to sign up for training classes until the last minute. They don't inform you how to do training classes online... And I didn't know who my license Rep was until Jan 2016 and I been with LSSI since 2013. Like I said very unprofessional. They blame their foster parent for the way the way the foster kids are acting out. I am switching with a another foster agency. I am very disappointed how LSSI treated me as a new foster parent; I didn't expect any of this. Some LSSI people support you but the important ones that supposed to support you don't support you. Like I said before I became a foster parent because I love helping people who need help. And I don't like to see no kids not having a loving home to call their home.
