While this ride has rough moments and awkward transitions, somewhat cramped seats, and is less scenic than it used to be, Dahlonega is still a really fun ride. I love mine train coasters. The line is rarely long, the queue is shaded, and the atmosphere is rustic and nostalgic. The drop at the end is very entertaining and worth a ride on its own. Highly recommend, especially if you have kids who want to get into coasters.

its nice for kids and its tame so when you want just take a break from the big roller coasters this one is perfect i love it
A Good Kiddy Coaster
I haven't rode this ride since I was 12 years old during the summer of 1976 and always loved it. I lived with my parents across I-20 at the Arrowhead Campground which is no longer there. It was the best summer of my life! I bought a season pass for 26.50!
i rode it today and since it is one of the oldest rides there it’s very bumpy and you go up and down tons. definitely violently throws you around some and going into the cave/tunnel might be the worst part. the seats are hard and i hit my back against it many times, which does hurt. it’s a fun ride, but overall hurts lots and not just for the little ones!
My favorite ride at the park! Nice and smooth the a twist at the end!!
Typical mine train. If you like tiny lifthills, you're in luck because it has three of them lol.
Haha my only memory of this ride was getting stuck on it. But other than that it's a fun ride that is really fast at parts you wouldn't expect. Wouldn't say it's anything too original, but it fits in a lot of good twists and turns. It has a lot of nice slopes and turns and all that. Probably could've added a little something extra, but other than that it's a good ride.
