This is not Best Buy, it is definitely not Fry's, and it is not a replacement for Radio Shack. No, Altex has found a happy medium, a melding if you will, of the best parts their competitor's. Looking for a liquid cooling solution for your overclocked CPU? Come here. Do you need to convert video connector A to B? Come here. Need memory, a graphics card, an m.2 SSD? Come here.

Drove from Ben White Blvrd during rush hour to get a fuse for the charging cord on my sister's portable oxygen concentrator. Cost: 2.50 for 2. They were literally the only place in town to carry these fuses. We were 45 minutes from home not during rush hour and this critical piece of equipment fails. For a fuse. Thank God that Altex Computer is in business. My sister has COPD. She can't breath without oxygen anymore. So they saved her life, sort of. Her machine was at 40% power by the time we got to them. If they were not there, we would have had to order the fuse online. And wait. And she would not have been able to leave the house. Even for a walk. Or to visit me on the other side of the driveway. So Thank You Altex! You are my hero!

I can’t say enough about Altex. I had a huge laptop issue that was very complicated. Rey Barrera helped me out from start to finish. Long story short, I had over 6 months of work that was salvaged on my laptop. He also helped me put that information on a new laptop. He saved me money and time. This was my first time at Altex, but I will be continuing to use them for any services or repairs. Thanks again for the help Rey and Altex!
