So disappointed. Over the period of 6 months I have been researching and reading many pool contractors reviews and so many have terrible results so imagine my excitement when I read Athena Pool reviews and there was not 1 bad review!!! Hallelujah!! I immediately picked up the phone to make an appt and imagine my disappointment when I called and got the recording that “the voice mail of Jeff is full please call back later.” So much for that!

This was our first time having a pool built.Jeff (the owner) came out to give us our first bid on the project. We were so impressed with his knowledge and expertise we decided to go with Athena Pools. The project went so smoothly and the final results were fantastic! The pool Jeff designed was exactly what we had envisioned. Jeff's project manager, Rueben, is also a great part of his team. He kept us up to date during each step of the process,and if we had a question he would always call us back the same day. How refreshing! We would highly recommend Athena pools!
Excellent experience working with Jeff and Athena Pools on our first pool! Over the last few years we'd had bids from a few national pool installers but I never walked away from the consultations feeling great about the potential investment. I felt like it was a sales pitch each time. Jeff is a straight shooter. He can build a million dollar pool if you want but that wasn't our budget. Instead Jeff gave us a clear outline of options and their cost without fluffing the consultation with unnecessary items. With that, I felt the cost would be worth the investment. Further, Jeff was available to answer all questions as we finalised the design and features of the pool. In the end, we have beautiful pool that fits perfectly into our back yard. Jeff has an excellent field team that he works with. Ruben is his lead guy and would frequently provide updates with all phases of construction and finish. From excavation, to framing, to plastering, to decking, to fire up, all was communicated and explained thoroughly. The pool was one part (the big part!) of our overall backyard project. Jeff offered a landscaper for me to meet with as well as a fence guy. Pricing was competitive and the quality and materials are excellent. Today, I kick back and enjoy the pool, landscaping, and fence with joy and pride and don't regret a damn thing. I'm truly pleased with working with Jeff and the entire Athena team.
Excellent experience! Far beyond expectations! My wife and I had an extensive remodel and addition on the home we purchased in Westlake. In the backyard was a pool that was built in the early 1980's. We interviewed multiple pool builders to discuss options of remodeling the previous pool or removing and building a new one. Jeff set himself apart from the competition immediately. His background as an engineer was readily apparent. He meticulously measured our backyard and developed layouts for a new pool that would best compliment the backyard and house. He openly discussed advantages and disadvantages of remodeling the original pool versus removing and building a new one then gave us time to decide the best option for our family. We decided on the latter. We had previewed examples of his work so expectations were already high. He far exceeded these expectations. He removed the previous pool and built a new pool and hot tub with perfect dimensions and location for our yard. He designed features that are kid friendly and look great. The end product is an amazing pool that our kids love to swim in and our family will use for years to come. Jeff was affable, available, detail oriented and extremely professional throughout the process. I rarely write reviews but cannot recommend him and his team highly enough. Travis & Colby K.
I came across Athena Pools on Yelp, and soon after discovered a friend had used them last year for their pool build. Out of the builders we met with, Jeff was the most professional and by far the best at understanding what our wants were, and what would work best in our yard. The contract and design process was seamless, communication was better than I could have imagined, and the entire project went incredible smooth. We appreciate the design and engineering that went into our pool and decking, and Jeff truly designed a gorgeous pool that our family will enjoy for many years to come. His project management team kept us abreast of the various stages, communicated delays due to unexpected weather, and patiently explained anything we had questions about. The crews Athena uses were efficient and respectful of our property, the pool equipment and materials used are top notch, and we are so pleased with everything. We highly encourage anyone interested in a pool/outdoor living space to connect with Athena, you won't be disappointed!!
