The problem with the compact city, is it's become less livable. The city is so eager to fill its coffers that we're losing our soul. Who wants to live in the dark, claustrophobic canyons Austin is becoming? Building need a stepped -pyramid profile so we can see the sky again. Second stories should be connected with promenades so people and bikes can travel freely, avoiding street traffic. This would create a second level for sidewalk businesses. I hope the city will consider this.

Why waste time on matters outside of the city. I would rather precious time spent on our city rather than voting whether or not to support the presidents actions. Serve your community.

The City of Austin and the bag ban is ridiculous. Nobody has time to \REMBER\ to bring their bags to EVERY store they shop at. The 1 charge for a PLASTIC bag at HEB is outrageous, saving .05 for bringing your own bag at Target is unacceptable. RELEASE THE BAG BAN.

You should all lose your positions. The law is the law. You're behavior is disgusting to REAL Americans.
