Class taken: Comprehensive GMAT Class GMAT score: 740 Highly recommend taking this class if you're serious about the GMAT! The pace and content of the class kept me challenged and focused. Even though the classes are virtual and with other students, the help I received felt very personalized and I always got all of my questions answered. Much better than trying to study on my own. Very happy with my score after taking this class and one 1:1 tutoring session with Dr. Amar.

The Austin GMAT review is a great resource for both GMAT prep and admissions counseling and I highly recommend that you sign up. I consider Austin GMAT to be more of a school than a test prep company and feel that this organization did more for me than just prepare me for a test. Rather, it prepared me to be a better student and to be more intellectually curious about the world. Dr. Amar and Dave are the type of teachers I wish I had in high school. They are both committed to the success of their students and to teach more than just GMAT topics. Most days, I would leave class wanting to learn more and I believe that is because of how engaging they are as teachers. Most importantly, Austin GMAT review made the course more about being intellectually curious than about learning to solve GMAT problems. Developing a sense of curiosity helped me grasp concepts on the GMAT more quickly and allowed me to identify faster ways to solve the most difficult problems the GMAT can throw at you. Furthermore, I had the opportunity to work with Elaine as my MBA admissions coach. She is an amazing resource and has the depth of knowledge I needed to help make my MBA program decisions. Because of the great staff at Austin GMAT review, I was able to reach a score 120 points above my original score and get into a top MBA program a year ahead of plan. I will miss the staff and Dr. Amar's random lessons on physics / astronomy. I cannot thank the Austin GMAT team enough and I am sure that this this program will help you reach your MBA goals as it has for countless other students.

This is a great company with an outstanding team! Dr. Amar does a fantastic job breaking down the GMAT into simpler terms. I found their approach / strategy was far more effective than Kaplan or other standard GMAT prep services. After completing the course, I highly recommend investing in the \MBA Admissions Consulting and Essay Review\ service that they offer. Elaine provides great direction and feedback on application essay questions, and she will have you well prepared for any MBA interview.

He is generous and patient, helping tailor his approach to the unique needs of each student. Highly recommend!

I HIGHLY recommend taking this GMAT course before taking the exam. Dr. Amar and Dave are both amazing teachers and were able to break down seemingly difficult concepts into very straightforward ones. The most useful part of the course for me was the fundamental change in the way I tackled the exam. Coming from an engineering background, I originally thought I needed to take the GMAT with a very analytical mindset, and my practice grades suffered due to this point of view. Through the class, Dr. Amar and Dave taught us how to view the exam in a more conceptual format rather than getting stuck in the weeds. This concept point of view, the great weekly interactive practice sessions, and the constant practice helped me to achieve a GMAT score I am EXTREMELY proud of. I highly recommend this course for those who feel like they could improve their scores even slightly more, as well as those (like me) who benefit more from a structured study approach versus an individual one. Again, thanks so much to Dr. Amar and Dave for helping me to achieve the great score I was able to obtain!
