The first day I got there I was nervous, but whenever I was waiting to be admitted in that day My food was brought to me by the one of the Tech's Michael he was funny and said to give him a five star rating, lol. Overall,I was committed to getting the help I needed this time and focusing on myself and the groups they have there are Great and help too. You make a lot...of Great friends that can relate to you too. Some..of the Tech's like Michael,Bobby,La'Toya,Eric,Simon,Crystal,an Julio ar very cool and nice and the overall Favorite nurse is Avolia(not sure if that's how you you spell it).

I met an man there who worked on unit 3 during a stay, Nick. He's another Rudolf Hess. I think about him a lot. It would be nice if he wasn't participating in history that's repeating. And also something that I was not going to get into with a Tech about one bit, nooooooooo.
I self admitted to in patient program. I told them I was allergic to one drug called haldol. The nursing staff gave me two injections of haldol for being ude\ then didnt even have the necessary equipment to deal with the allergic reaction that followed. I had to tell them to administer diphendydramine before I lost my ability to speak. If self admitting they switch you to involuntary and keep you for as long as your insurance will allow. Dr. Shiva Lam is the prescribing physician. It took 4 days of lying in bed doing nothing (there are no classes or programming to attend during the day) before he was able to evaluate me. I was prescribed medication before I was even assessed.
On the surface the facility is ran to be clean, honest, and professional. Once your inside though, staff would use the excuse of unprofessionalisn to patients who are in there with mental health disorders that may cause the person to lash out verbally but not know it happened. After my friend got discharged she was mentally and emotionally a mess at home and it took me eeeks to get her feeling better butI knew my friend needed help so I got her into a different facility..
I personally was assisted by this hospital eight years ago in my journey for alcohol recovery, recently when someone close to me needed help with drug addiction they were able to assist in helping this person recover from their abuse in their outpatient IOP program. Highly recommend!
