My husband (who is 48) has had chronic back pain most of his life. He had a crack in his spine since birth and was diagnosed with spinal arthritis at an early age. Since we have been married, he has gone to multiple doctors (orthopedic surgeons, etc.) and never found relief. He finally went to a pain management doctor - Dr. Sauman Rafii at Diagnostic Pain Center and after several treatments, including steroid injections, we decided surgery might be the only option. Dr. Rafii referred us to Dr. Vasudevan and our lives changed! Dr. Rafii gave rave reviews and said that is the only person he would want operating on his own back! Dr. \V's\ office staff is absolutely fabulous to deal with. Everyone in the office was super sweet and super attentive and responsive. Dr. V scheduled him for surgery on 11/19/2020. We weren't sure what to expect, but the minimally invasive surgery was amazing. I picked him up from the hospital the next day (he walked out.) And after an easy recovery over the holidays - and 7 weeks post surgery - my husband said he has never felt better in his life! We can't thank Dr. V enough for giving my husband's his life (and mine!!) back. It's a better 2021!

Dr. V as I call him, is an amazing Surgon and the quality of care he provided for me through my entire journey was absolutely amazing. His bed side manner is truly amazing and I appreciate all he has done for me. Dr. V conducted a Anterior Cervical discectomy and fusion of c4 through c7 back in June of 2019. He was able to diagnose the my problem quickly and was able to convince me to have the surgery that I found to be one of the hardest decisions I have ever had to make. Thank you so much Dr. V for being the kind and gentle person that I have grown to know over this past year. May God bless you in abundance for all the great work you do for others and giving me back my quality of life.

Had been in a head on car crash and was in bad shape. I was gradually losing the use of my left hand and was in constant pain. My Pain doctor advised me to go see Austin NeoroSpine because they were the best in town. I had to wait a while because Covid 19 had shut everything down, but we got is scheduled. The surgery went great and the followup has been exceptional. There is nobody in the world that I have more faith in more than Dr. Vasudevan. The surgery was done at Arise in Austin and they were painstakingly thorough about protecting me and the other patients from Covid. All in all I was extremely well treated and I pray for all who stayed on the job, and saved people, through all the danger and fear of the virus. Doc, you gave me back my life as a Manufacturing Engineer who designs automation and builds new high tech manufacturing equipment. I was so afraid I was done for before the surgery and it feels so great to be back at work with my team. Great to be out working on my ranch again as it all gets healed again. Rock Stars in scrubs one and all. Will never forget you and what you did for me.

My experiences here have been among the best I've had in healthcare. Great surgeon, down to earth and really interactive with patients so you understand treatment options. I've been to Austin NeuroSpine and Dr. Vasudevan for two different issues and both times he's gone above and beyond expectations. The first time was a few years back and I was in major back pain and under the care of a different doctor for over a month who couldn't find the problem. On the first visit, Dr. V found the issue from the existing tests and sent me off to get an injection which fully resolved the pain over the next few days. The second time was recent and Dr. V once again came through. I needed emergent surgery due to a severly pinched nerve that was causing loss of motion. We reviewed the available options for care and we agreed on the right approach. However, the insurance company wanted to complete a procedure that would only resolve the issues short term. Dr. V went to work to validate with the insurance company that the treatment that I wanted was the proper approach. So far, the results have been amazing. I would highly recommend Austin NeuroSpine and Dr. Vasudevan.
