We had a great time with Travis as our guide! He is very knowledgeable on Texas history and all the sites. It was pretty windy and we struggled to paddle. He happily hooked our 2 person kayak to him and paddled on. He really had to work to get us back against the wind! I would recommend this experience to anyone visiting!

Great personal experience. Many kayaking tours have 30 or more people on the tour and that is simply too many people. I loved how they like to keep their tours to a small limited amount of people. It made it a much more enjoyable experience. We were right under the bridge when the 10s of thousands of bats came flying out. We didn't have to kayak far to see the bats and flew everywhere. The photo below is of us heading back well after most of the bats had left the bridge. We were right under the bridge when 98% came out. Beware. When the bats leave the bridge they will evacuate the bladder and bowels. It's not really that bad just something to be aware of.
Had friends in town visiting and we went on the night paddle to see the Bats! Colin was great and talkative, very knowledgeable and made an effort to get to know everyone on the tour! Will definitely be bringing future visitors on this tour.
Amazing guide, I wish I asked for his name. We took a tandem kayak, and as someone who's never rowed before, I found it really easy, especially after the guide's instructions. Highly recommend
